Mrs. Kathryn Josephine Mullins

Kathryn Josephine Mullins, 90, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 1, 2021 beginning at 9:am until the 11:00 am Chapel service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. A 2:00 pm graveside service will follow at White Sands Cemetery in Prentiss, MS. Kathryn was born December 8, 1930 to Joseph Kirkham Norris and Katie Velma Kirkham Norris. She was a member of Pearson Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, puzzle books, reading and swimming. Mrs. Mullins is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Mullins; parents, Joseph and Katie Norris; brother, Eldred Norris; daughter, Martha Ellen Wallace. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kathryn (Pete) Herrod of Okolona, MS, Willette (Donald)Coker of Brandon, MS, Susan (Jeff) Jennings of Florence, MS; son in law, Don Wallace of Brandon, MS; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
