Katherine Annette Vanhorn,58 , passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, May 6, 2011 and 11am until the 1pm funeral service Saturday, May 7, 2011, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Vanhorn was born March 6, 1953 in Greenville, MS to Hurbart Lamar Bishop and Vera Pearl Wilcher Bishop. She was a homemaker having lived all her life in the Jackson area.\ \ Survivors include her son Douglas Wayne Elkins of Puckett; daughters DeVera Michelle Duran and Charity Joyce Elkins both of Brandon; brothers Herbert Levan Bishop and Harold Wayne Bishop both of Raymond, Walter Lamar Bishop and James Farrell Bishop both of Pearl; sister Willie Patterson of Terry; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.\
