Kenneth Cleveland Boyd

Kenneth Cleveland Boyd, died on November 25, 2023 at his home in Florence, Mississippi at the age of 75. Mr. Boyd was born in McComb, Mississippi on February 25, 1948, to parents Robert T. Boyd, Sr. and Kathleen D. Boyd.

He graduated from McComb High School in 1967. He attended Baptist Radiology School from 1968-1970 and continued his education at Duke University earning a B.S. degree in Nuclear Medicine. Upon graduation, he began working in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was employed for 35 years.

Mr. Boyd has been a long-time member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, and fixing things. He is survived by his loving, dedicated, and selfless wife of 54 years, Sarah E. Boyd; children, Stacey Boyd Jackson of Madison, MS; his son Brian Boyd and his daughter-in-law Karissa Boyd, both of Columbus, MS; his grandchildren, Kendall Jackson, Cade Jackson, Chloe Boyd, Brianna Claire Boyd, Addison Boyd and Adeline Boyd; his nephews Mervin Boyd (wife Elly Boyd) and Robert T. Boyd, III (Angie Boyd); and his dogs Rufus and Lucy. He was predeceased by his father, Robert T. Boyd, Sr., mother, Kathleen D. Boyd, brothers, David T. Boyd and Robert T. Boyd, Jr., his sister, Beverly Boyd Bullock and nephew David T. Boyd.
