Kenneth Ray Grantham

Mr. Kenneth Ray Grantham, 88, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, from 10:00 a.m. until the service which will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Faith Baptist Church in Florence.

Mr. Kent was born on July 25, 1933, to Hester J. and Katie Aline Grantham in Rankin County, MS and lived all his life in this area. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1955-1956.  He was a mechanic by trade working in the air conditioning and heating area for King Air.  Mr. Kent was a faithful member at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Florence for many years.  He loved to do woodwork and gardening.  Mr. Kent will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Those that preceded him in death were his parents and his first wife Fannie Grantham.  He is survived by his spouse and best friend, Margaret Grantham.  They were married for 9 years.  He has also left a host of adopted family and friends, which include his church family at Mountain Creek.
