Mr Kenneth Roach

Kenneth Roach, 57, passed away at Mississippi University Medical Center in Jackson. A memorial will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Restoration Church on Lakeland Drive from 5 PM until 9 PM. A celebration of life will be 1 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home. Ken spent the last 25 years in Florence. He always put family first, took in many children, known for his great sense of humor and generosity. His grandchildren lovingly called him “Papa”. He will be remembered as a meticulous teacher by his children and colleagues in the carnival industry. He was preceded by his dad Clarence Roach and sister Diane Roach. He is survived by his wife Barbe Roach of Florence; mother Alda Joann of Knoxville, TN; son Kenneth Dylan Roach of Florence; daughter Kendra (fiancé Michael Croff) Roach of Florence; Krista (fiancé Robbie Robertson) Roach of Florence; sisters Elizabeth and Debra (Tim) Turner; grandchildren Kailee Robertson and Ryder Robertson; nephews Timmy Turner, Hunter Turner, Adam McMahan, Nicholas McMahan and Matthew McMahan.
