Mr. Kenneth E. "Butch" Seavey Jr.

Kenneth E. “Butch” Seavey, Jr., 62, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at UMMC in Jackson. A Celebration of Butch’s Life will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, 5:30pm-7:30pm. Butch was born in New Hampshire to the late Kenneth E. Seavey, Sr. and Johnnye Savell Seavey. He lived in Central Mississippi most of his life with his working career as a welder in the fabrication business. Butch was a hard worker, generous and loved helping people. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with family. He was an avid supporter of breast cancer awareness. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brandie Seavey, grandson, Colton Seavey and nephew, Ricky Seavey. Survivors include his loving wife of over 18 years, Patsy Seavey of Terry; sons, Chuck Seavey of Florence and Patrick Terrell of New York; daughters, Lisa Martin of Tylertown, Melissa Wells of McComb and Susan Shipman of AL; brother, Rick Seavey of Florence; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
