Mr. Kenneth Lee Watkins

Kenneth Lee Watkins, 50, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, October 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 19th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Kenneth was born on December 11, 1970 to Lee Russell and Florine Shaw Watkins in Jackson, MS. He loved to hunt and fish and he loved horses. Kenneth loved his animals, especially his dogs and chickens. He was a member of Florence Assembly of God where he was the oldest running member and part of the praise team in which he played the drums. Kenneth also enjoyed Civil War Memorabilia and was a Connoisseur. He loved his family deeply and loved spending time with them. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Lee Russell Watkins. He is survived by his daughters: Kaylan (Lee) Ely of Purvis and Julieanna Watkins of Braxton; his mother, Florine Watkins; sisters: Dee (Bill) Styron of Louisiana, Julie (Terry) Davidson of Florence, Virginia Turnage of Braxton, and Starla (Tim) Byrd of Florence; and one grandson, Waylon Ely.
