Kenneth Ray Patrick, 81, was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He died of complications from a stroke. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Friday in the funeral home chapel followed by interment in Terry Cemetery.\ \ Born in the Crystal Springs, MS area, Kenneth moved as a child with his family to the Wynndale area of Terry, MS, where he was raised on the family farm. He worked as Produce Manager for Jitney Jungle stores in the Jackson area for many years, until he and Louvenia started KR Patrick's Produce at the Central Farmers Market in Jackson in the 1970's. There they ran a successful business until retirement in 2000. He was loved by many friends. He was a loving husband, daddy and papaw to his family. He will be truly missed.\ \ Mr. Patrick is preceded in death by his father Arlie Andrew Patrick and his mother, Mattie Sykes Patrick of Terry, MS and by his sister Dot Fitzhugh of Carthage, MS.\ \ Mr. Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Louvenia Thomas Patrick; his son Donald Ray Patrick and wife Becky; his daughter Edie Hudson and husband Bill; his sister Sybil Kirby of Yazoo City and Audrey Watkins of Carthage; brother, Andrew Patrick of Terry, MS and brother Benny Patrick of Merlin, OR; grandchildren, Danny McGowan of Dallas, TX, Amy Patrick of Memphis, TN, Kevin Patrick of Terry, MS, Bill Hudson and family of Natchitoches, LA, and Cindy Rice and family of Brandon, MS.\
