Mr. Kevin Lynn Poore

Kevin Lynn Poore, 23, passed away Friday, February 22, 2014 in Jackson, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 until service time on Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Kevin was an employee of Midsouth Elevator and was an avid car enthusiast. Of all of the things he loved in life, nothing compared to his love for his family. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, DeLynn O’Briant Gafford. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Traxler Poore of Florence; sons, Hunter Lynn Poore and Ryder Lynn Poore, both of Florence; brother, Ryan Chunn of Hebrew Springs, Arkansas; and sister, Raechale Gafford of Florence. He is also survived by his great-grandmother, Francis Paschal of Greenville, Mississippi and by his best friend, Jeremy Travelstead of Terry. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to a college fund established for Kevin’s Children. The Hunter & Ryder Poore College Account, Community Bank, Brandon, Mississippi.
