Kimberly Michelle Copland, 47, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, April 18, 2014 and 12-2pm Saturday, April 19, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. The funeral service will begin at 2pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park. Kim was a native of Jackson, where she worked as a waitress at Martin’s Restaurant. She dearly loved her family. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Copeland. Survivors include her mother Judy Risko Copeland of Jackson; her companion for 17 years, Joey Buford of Terry; sons Brandon Yelverton and Austin Buford, both of Terry; step-daughter Emily Buford of Gallman; step-son Thomas Buford of Crystal Springs; brother Jerry Wayne Copeland of Harrisville; number of nieces & nephews.
