Kirby Brinson

Mr. Kirby Frank Brinson left this life to join his Heavenly Father on February 5, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.\ \ Mr. Brinson was born on February 25, 1952. He was a lifelong resident of the Clear Branch community in Florence and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He retired in April of 2008 from McLain Plumbing.\ \ He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Brinson.\ \ Mr. Brinson is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vicki Brinson; his two children: Bobby and Kimberly Brinson; his father, Frank Brinson and brother, Mike Brinson all of Florence, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.\ \ Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, February 7th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 1 -2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church prior to the 2 p.m. service at the church. Interment will follow at Clear Branch Cemetery.\ \ The family would like to thank Dr. Manu Patel and the staff of Jackson Oncology Associates and Odyssey Health Care for their care and support during his illness.\ \ In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Sanctuary Fund, 2081 White Road, Florence, MS 39073.
