Kirk Marshall Benton

Kirk Marshall Benton, 66, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home in Utica, MS. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

 A long-time resident of Utica, Kirk was born in Baton Rouge, LA on February 06, 1956 to Milton Benton, Jr. and Shirley Fair Benton. He grew up in Denham Springs, LA. Kirk was employed as an electrician, working with I.B.E.W for many years and later, was an AC/DC electrician in the oil fields. After entering retirement, he then sold real estate for the past five years. Kirk was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila Benton of Utica; sons, Adam Benton of Raymond and Patrick (Angela) Benton of Tampa, FL; daughter, Tina (Chase) Starnes of Raymond; brother, Barry (Debra) Benton; sister, Vicky Benton of Denham Springs; and grandchildren, Everly Starnes and Ava and Baileigh Benton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Mississippi Wildlife Federation.
