Kitty Paulette Roberts Vaughn

Mrs. Kitty Paulette Roberts Vaughn, age 80, passed away at her home in Florence, MS, surrounded by her family Friday, July 7, 2023. She was born November 12, 1942, in Attala County, MS, the daughter of Ed and Katie Bell Roberts.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 10 from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. service at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence, MS. Interment will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Richland, MS.

Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. She loved animals, especially cats and enjoyed fostering cats for Friends of Florence. She was also a supporter of the Mississippi Animal Rescue League. She also enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Vaughn had a servant’s heart, and she was a giving person. She never owned anything she would not give to someone in need, often sacrificing her own needs for the betterment of others. She was a true example of the love of Jesus and putting others before herself.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tony Craft (Tammy), Todd Craft, Terry Craft (Ella), Tami Jenkins (Ricky), Melinda Martin (Jerry); twelve grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Vaughn, her parents, and her siblings: Davis Roberts, Dell Pickle, Arnita Sheridan, Lyndell Roberts, Acey Roberts, Perry Roberts, and Arnold Roberts.
