Mr. L.C. Luke

Mr. L.C. Luke, 75 , of Byram, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home. Graveside services will be 11amThursday, January 14, 2016 at Mississippi State Veteran’s Cemetery in Newton, MS. Mr. Luke was born in Flora, MS to the late B.L. Luke and Clyte Palmer Luke. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, receiving the Purple Heart. After retirement from the Army, Mr. Luke was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Luke was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marvin Luke of Vicksburg. He is survived by his wife Ellice Braddock Luke; daughter Lana Renee Berry of Pearl; step-daughter Tommie Lisa McKinley of Jackson; brothers Johnny Glenn Luke of Florence and Lavon Luke of Benton; sisters Dianne Flowers (James) of Pearl and Bonnie Baldwin of Florence; granddaughter Cheyenne McKinley.
