Ladell Hamilton

Wilma Ladell Hamilton, 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25th from 5-8 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Thursday, January 26th from 9 am until the 10 am service. Burial will follow at Lakewood South in Jackson.\ \ Mrs. Hamilton has lived in Florence for the past five years, moving from Jackson. She was a Graduate of Gilfoy School of Nursing and Retired as Director of Nursing with Hudspeth Center. Her greatest Joy in life was her grandchildren.\ \ She was preceded in death by her daughter Beverly Kay Hamilton. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Darryl Hamilton of Brandon and Gary Hamilton (Ruthie) of Florence; sister, Louise Cran (Cliff) of Randolph, MS; Nephew Cliff Cran, Jr.; and by her grandchildren Matthew and Ashley Hamilton.\ \ The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Briar Hill Rest Home and Baptist Hospital nursing Staff (4A) for their care.\
