Lainey Mae Phillipson, 2 years old, entered the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, August 4th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 5th from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence. Lainey was with us only for a short time, but in that time, she made a big impact in many lives. Lainey was nothing but pure. She was so energetic, so full of life and love. Lainey did not let anything hold her back. Her smile would only make you smile. She loved unconditionally. Lainey loved her daddy, mama, and brothers with all she had. Even though Lainey never spoke the words, we could feel her love and see it. She touched so many lives in her short time here with us. Lainey loved playing with balls, playing in the sand, and being outside. WE will cherish the memories we have made with her. We thank God for allowing us the time we had. Lainey will never be forgotten, her free-loving spirit will forever live on in our hearts. Dance and sing with Jesus, our precious blond, curly, blue-eyed angel. Until we meet again; Love, Daddy, Mama, Logan and Jacoby. Lainey is survived by her parents, Jeffery and Lisa Phillipson of Florence; brothers, Logan Smith and Jacoby Phillipson both of Florence; maternal grandparents, Ricky and Haliey Counts; paternal grandparents, Mary and Michael Lively and Ginger and Larry Phillipson; great grandmother, Alma Jean Williams; uncles, Robby Phillipson, Connor Phillipson, Sam Gully, James Gully, and Ricky Counts, Jr.; and aunts, Michelle Tuggle, Carlie Phillipson, Bailey Counts, Lauren Gully and Hope Windham.
