Mr. Larry G. Adams

Larry Gerome Adams, 76, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home in Byram. Visitation will be 6-8pm Saturday, August 5, 2017 and 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Sunday, August 6, 2017, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories in Florence. Mr. Adams was born in Trion, GA to the late Manker Lowery Adams and Clora Adams. He lived in Byram for the past 28 years and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring from Mississippi Army National Guard with 32 years of devoted service. Mr. Adams loved spending time with his family and was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram. He was a simple man who was selfless, giving and always put others first. His grandchildren were his heart and they loved their “Beloved Papa”. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Wanda Adams of Byram; daughters, Pennie (Tim) Woodard of Raymond and Michelle (Michael) Chastain of Byram; granddaughters, Chelsea Woodard Bryant ( husband Cameron) and Makenzie Chastain; great-grandson, Camden Bryant.
