Larry Barton, 48, of Mendenhall passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Larry is survived by his wife, Shonta Bridges Barton; Son, Coty Barton; brother, Barry Barton (Beth) of Florence; sister, Brenda Stringer of Slidell, LA; brothers, Carol Wane of FL and Gary Waley of TX; brother-in-laws, Dale Bridges (Linda), Donald Bridges, Ronald Bridges (Sydney Fay) all of Florence.\ \ Visitation will be Friday, February 24th from 5-8 pm and Saturday, February 25th from 9am until the 10am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow the service at new Zion Baptist Church in Braxton. \ \ In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donation s to Simpson County Reserve Unit. P.O. Box 88.
