Larry Terrell Bridgers, 72, went to heaven Thursday, March 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 25 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26 at First Baptist Church of Raymond with visitation 10-11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Raymond City Cemetery. Mr. Bridgers was born in Greenwood, MS to the late John T. Bridgers and Gladys Hutchins Bridgers. He lived in Raymond for 68 years and was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Raymond. He was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Services for 23 years and he farmed for over 30 years. Mr. Bridgers loved the farm very much, raising cotton, soybeans, wheat, hay, livestock and vegetables in his garden. He loved his dogs and goats and also enjoyed cooking. Mr. Bridgers never met a stranger and cherished his friendships and loved his family very much. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Hutchins Bridgers and Jerry Bridgers. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years Martha Kingery Bridgers; sons, Miles Bridgers (Amanda) of Utica and Darren Bridgers (Carolyn) of Learned; daughters, Marlea Barr (David) of Nesbit and Terri Jenkins (Jake) of Brandon; grandchildren, Jasmine, Peyton, Reagan, Shelby, Chloe, Alyssa, Spencer, David, Garrett, Kaitlyn and Allie.
