Larry Edward Lee, Sr.

Larry Edward Lee, Sr., passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, in Florence, MS. He was 82 years old. 

Larry was born on September 22, 1942, to Carlton Edward Lee and Doris Phillips Lee in Marietta, Georgia. He was raised in Warm Springs, GA, but has lived in the Florence community for the past 28 years. Larry served in the United States Army, a true testament to his commitment to his country. Larry loved woodworking and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Doris Lee; son, Troy Wayne Lee and his sister, Candy Stinnett. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Verna Lee of Florence, MS, his children, Kathy Wynn of Florence, Tammy Deems of Fort Wayne, IN, Tony Lee of Fort Wayne, IN, Larry Lee, Jr. of Florence, and Chris Lee of Florence; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
