Larry Wayne Nipper

Larry Wayne Nipper, 69, of Richland, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was a devoted and loving father to Jeremy, Rachael, Justin, and Landen.

Larry was a hardworking and dedicated electrician, spending many years in the trade. He was known for his commitment to his work and his deep connection to IBEW Local 480, where he was a faithful member for 49 years. Even in retirement, he continued sharing his passion and knowledge with others.

His interests and hobbies were many. He loved spending time with his friends daily at Mama’s Kitchen in Richland, where laughter and good conversation were always on the menu. He shared a love for travel, bicycles, and ultralight planes. He enjoyed the challenge of building motors and customizing his bikes, often taking trips to admire bicycles from all over. Flying ultralight planes brought him a sense of freedom and excitement that he cherished for years.

Larry was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Richland, where he found joy in his church family and Sunday school relationships. Throughout his journey of healing, he shared countless memories and photos, always known for doing what he loved.

He touched so many lives with his smile, laughter, and sense of humor. During his time at UMMC, Methodist Rehab, and The Nichols Center, he formed new friendships and shared his passions for faith, family, and hobbies. His family is deeply grateful for the excellent care and kindness he received.

Larry is survived by his children: Jeremy, Rachael (Alan), Justin, and Landen; and his grandchildren: Kaylee, Jaxen, Marlee, Ensley Sage, Maverick, and Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Florence, and his brother, Bobby Joe.

We find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, healed, and in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories he created.
