Larry Sanders

Milford Larry Sanders, 63, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 9am until the 10am funeral service Monday, July 6, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. Sanders was born in West Point, MS on November 24, 1945 to Milford T. and Lucile Wilson Sanders. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans and founder and president of the Byram Men's Investment Club. Larry was an avid baseball fan and supporter, while coaching Little League. He was commissioner of the Forest Hill Youth Club and past president of Terry Baseball Diamond Club. Mr. Sanders was a member of Wynndale Baptist Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Derek Larry Sanders. Survivors include his wife Gerry Sanders and son Nathan Jere Sanders both of Jackson; brother, Clint W. Sanders of FL and sister, Carol Jan Phillips of Madison.\ \
