Laura Loper Currie, 73 , passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at CMMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, July 21, 2009 and 12noon until the 1pm funeral service Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Sebastopol Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Currie was a native of Union, MS and had lived in Byram since 1954. She was cafeteria manager for Whitten Jr. High School and member of Emmanuel Nazarene Church.\ \ Survivors include her husband, Bill H. Currie of Byram; son, Jeff H. Currie (Sharon) of Bolton; daughter, Cheryl C.
