Lawrence Daniel (Danny) Tillman

Lawrence Daniel Tillman, 40, of Florence passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Thursday, August 18 from 10am until the 11 am service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Briar Hill Cemetery in Florence.\ \ Danny was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. He graduated from Florence High School and University of Mississippi EMT Paramedic School. He worked in MedCom at University Medical Center. He also was a volunteer Fireman at the Monterey Fire Department and worked for MDOT. He formerly worked for AMR and Kings Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven and was a Past Master of the Evening Star Lodge #70 F&AM. Danny loved his family and always put others first.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Tillman of Florence; 2 daughters, Emma Grace and Adylyn Brooke Tillman of Florence; his parents, Charles "Charlie" and Jo Tillman of Florence; his brother, Charles "Chuck" (Danette) Tillman III of Florence; grandmothers, Lula Tillman Glaze of Florence and Christine Tadlock Gaskin of Florence; father and mother in law, Troy and Janis Laird of Florence; brother in law, Jeffrey (Lyndi) Laird of Florence; sister in law, Regina Laird Robinson of Florence; 5 nieces and 1 great nephew. \
