Lloyd Douglas Berrong, 66 , passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at CMMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, July 20, 2012, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Saturday, July 21 in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood South Memorial Park.\ \ Dr. Berrong, a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, lived all his life in the Jackson/Raymond area. He was an expert rifleman, and was an outstanding medical corpsman. He was an accomplished Veterinarian who loved to work his farm, raise a garden and work cattle. Dr. Berrong was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pearl.\ \ Survivors include his wife Elizabeth (Libby) Berrong of Jackson; son, Paul Douglas Berrong of Jackson; daughters, Shannon Berrong Williams (Alex) of Chattanooga, TN and Aimee Berrong Hughes (Grant) of Jackson; brothers, Dwight Haywood Berrong (Shannen) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Donald O. Berrong (Dianne) of Pensacola, FL and David Berrong of Raymond; sister, Teresa Berrong of Raymond and grandchildren Kenny W. Benson and Sara A.
