Graveside services are at 2:00pm Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Itta Bena Cemetery in Itta Bena, MS.\ \ Mrs. Handley was born July 25, 1924 in Ackerman, MS to John Ernest and Sue Ellis Reed. She had worked for Delta Electric Power Association and was a member of First Methodist Church in Cleveland, MS.\ \ Survivors include her sons, Dr.Stephen Handley of Jackson, Hank Handley of Slidell, LA; sisters, Hildreth Matthews of Memphis, TN, Katherine Thornton of Hernando, MS; brother, John Reed of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Valerie Flannigan of Houston, TX, Stephen Handley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; great grandchildren, Ronan & Erin Flannigan and Stephen & Danica Handley.\ \ Memorials may be made to Riggs Manor in Raymond.
