Lee Otis Robinson, 73, crossed over on Monday, October 08, 2012. He was born on February 2, 1939 to the late Willie Othello Johnson Robinson and Charlie Robinson. He was the youngest of 10 children.\ \ Lee Otis Robinson served in the US Army from June 29, 1956 until January 21, 1958. He was honorably discharged; he married Maude Alice Jackson on May 19, 1958. Together they had three children, Mary A. Jenkins, Barbara R. Adams, and Otis Gregory Robinson. Later in life he ventured into opening his own mechanic and auto body shop, which he did for 25+ years of his life. He retired late in the year 2000. January 21, 2011, he moved in with his daughter Barbara where he lived until his home going.\ \ Seven brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, his first true love Maude A. Robinson, one son Gregory Robinson (Sharon); three daughters; Mary A. Jenkins, Shirley McGee, Barbara Adams (Walter) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives and friends.\ \ A memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Visitation will be 10am until 11am Thursday, at the funeral home.\ \ Things you may not have known about Lee Otis:\ 1) He loved his family with all his heart.\ 2) He loved to dance\ 3) He loved making you laugh.\ 4) He would greet you with a kiss and a hug and he would say good-bye with a kiss and a hug.\ 5) He was smart as a whip.\ 6) He loved to eat anything chocolate and he loved to cook.\ 7) He loved the ladies.\ 8) He was an excellent Mechanic and Autobody man.\ 9) He was a skilled carpenter.\
