Leigh Rinehart

Virginia Leigh Rinehart, 26, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, September 20 and 9am until the 10am funeral service Saturday, September 21, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside service will follow at 4pm Saturday at Doty Chapel Cemetery in Shannon, MS. Leigh was born in Flowood, MS on October 6, 1986 and graduated from Terry High School with honors in just three years. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses. She worked closely with the Animal Rescue League, always rescuing animals. Survivors include her parents Allen & Frankie Rinehart of Raymond; husband of eight years Joe Strong of Raymond; paternal grandparents Harold & Mary Jane Rinehart of Shannon and grandmother Betty Peters of Nettleton; brother Chris Rinehart (Pam) of Shannon; sisters Delana Hoffman (Justin) of Florence and Latricia McCoy (Ruben) of Jackson; six nieces and nephews.
