Ms. Lenora C. Gurley

Mrs. Lenora Catherine Gurley of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm, Saturday, December 30 at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence with the Funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Ms. Gurley was born in Louisiana but was a longtime resident of Harrisville. She was faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church and a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and reading and was a kind, unselfish and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and a precious son, Jimmy Gurley. She is survived by her loving husband, James Howard Gurley of 59 years; son, John Gurley of Harrisville; daughters, Cathy (Randy) Lindsey of Florence and Charlotte Jones of Harrisville; brothers, Andrew Eads and Edward Eads; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
