Mr. Leon K. Bass Jr.

Mr. Leon K. Bass, Jr., of Terry, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, and from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service time on Monday, January 13, 2014. Interment will be in Terry Cemetery. Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his parents Leon Korman Bass, Sr., and Katie Bass, and sisters Marie Johnson and Barbara Webb. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Yvonne Bass of Terry; sons Leon Bass III (Regina) of Heath, TX, and Carl Bass of Terry; daughters Karen Herrington (Dale) of Magee, Miss., Marie Forst (Jerry) of Madison, Miss., and Sherri Blacet of Tulsa, Ok., brother David Bass of Raymond, and sisters Bonnie Webb of McComb, and Leona Hawkins of Clinton, along with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, Miss.
