Mr. Leon Marcus Scott

Leon Marcus Scott, resident of Byram Mississippi, was called home to our Lord on Friday September 28, 2018. Visitation will be 9am until the 11am funeral service Monday, October 1, 2018 all at Springridge United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He was born on March 26, 1941 to Evan and Mildred Scott of Groveton, Texas. Leon owned the successful business of Leon Scott Installation since 1971. Mr. Scott has greatly contributed to the growth of the medical/science community in the southern United States by installing state of the art laboratory equipment in hospitals, universities, and high schools. Leon was a member of Springridge United Methodist Church in Terry, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife Barbara Scott (56 years of marriage), two sons Mark Scott (Cathy Scott) and Jeffrey Scott (Rachelle Scot), three grandchildren Spencer Little, Addison Scott, and Kayden Scott; siblings Charles Scott, Nellie Schilab, Bertha Murdock, Barbara Walters, Werdie Opry, and Rosie Collier. Leon is preceded in death by his parents Evan and Mildred Scott and sister Dorthy Scott. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Springridge United Methodist Church.
