Mr. Lewis Clarence Warren

Lewis Clarence Warren, 55, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at VA Medical Center in Jackson. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 18th at Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence with a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Mr. Warren was born September 3, 1957 in Shreveport, LA and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He was a disabled Veteran of the U.S. Army and spent 25 years in Texas where he managed convenience stores and owned and operated his own golf shop. He has lived in Florence since 2008. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and was a very family oriented man. Mr. Warren is preceded in death by his father, Carlis Everett Pinson; his grandson, Francis Pete, Jr.; and by his father-in-law, Richard Tesch. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Warren of Florence, mother, Sara Pinson of Florence, mother-in-law, Orla Tesch of Frederic, Wisconsin; son, Frankie (Debra) Christensen of Byram; daughter, Cassie Pete of Pearl; brothers, David Pinson of Learned, Pete Pinson of Clinton; sisters, Ginny Seep of Philadelphia, MS and Linda Gilbert of Little Rock, MS; grandchildren, Mikell, Blake, and Staysha Christensen of Byram; and brother-in-law, Dr. Steven (Brenda) Tesch.
