Mrs. Linda Kay Harvey

Linda Kay Harvey, 71, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Thibodaux, LA. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8th from 5-8 PM and Monday, June 9th from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson. A native of Texas, Mrs. Harvey has called Florence home for 36 years. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God and worked in retail sales with Acosta Sales and Marketing. She was an avid gardener and worked as a florist with A & P Foods. Mrs. Harvey is preceded in death by her son, Jim Baker; and her grandson, Jimmy Baker. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bill Harvey of Florence; daughters, Wanda (Mike) Ward of Senatobia, Melissa (Chris) Luckett of Florence, Ginger (Stephanie) Harvey of Austin, TX, Beth Todd of Florence; daughter-in-law, Shirley Baker of Florence; brothers, Jerry Vail and James Vail both of Lufkin, TX; sisters, Deloris Foster of W. Columbia, TX, LaVerne Vail of Collinsville, OK, Martha Nell Holston of Lufkin, TX, and Kimera Ann Tubbs of Lufkin, TX; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
