Mrs. Linda Kay Knight

Linda Kay Knight, 65, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at CMMC in Jackson. Family and friends will gather together Saturday, June 15 from 9am-11am at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with The Celebration of Her Life service beginning at 11am Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Linda was born in Canton, MS to the late Alton W. and Grace Knight Ivy. She retired from Southern Farm Insurance Company where she worked as the Tape Librarian. Linda was a wife, mother and confidant, who enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing. She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Stephanie Knight. Survivors include her husband of 44 years Dewey Knight of Jackson; sons William Charles Williams, Jr. (Jill) of New Orleans, LA and Marcus Lane Knight of Florence; grandchildren Brandon Marcus Knight and William Charles Williams III.
