Mrs. Linda Dorothy Middleton

Linda Dorothy Middleton, 75, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home in Florence. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25th from 5-8pm and Monday, September 26th from 12PM until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Middleton was born August 13, 1941 to Frank and Dorothy McMillan Pengitore. She was a member of Flag Chapel Baptist Church. She was married to Donald “Don” Middleton for 58 years and was a homemaker that raised 9 children. She enjoyed collectiong porcelain dolls. Mrs. Middleton was preceded in death by her husband only 22 days before her; her daughter, Dawn Middleton; brother, Frank Pengitore; and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Ron (Brenda) Middleton of Clinton, Donnie (Brittany) Middleton of Hazlehurst and Austin Middleton of Florence; her daughters, Donna (Craig) King of Florence, Lori (Mike) Alderman of Flora, Denise (Charles) Foy of Pearl, Lisa (Curtis) Oswalt of Brandon and Kim Elliott of Florence; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
