Lisa Rickels Pace

Lisa Rickels Pace passed away on­­­­­­­­ Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was 56 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.  Interment will follow at Rials Creek Cemetery in Mendenhall.

Lisa was born on March 29, 1967, to Kenneth and Lucille Gainey Rickels in Mobile, Alabama. She has lived in the Florence community for 19 years where she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Lisa loved old cars and her schnauzer, Dallas.  He was her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lucille Rickels; brother, Pat Donald and sister, Gwyn Powell.  She is survived by her husband of 20 years, “The Love of Her Life”, Mitch Pace of Florence; daughters, Alisha Grissom (Jason) of Lake, MS, and Samantha Palmire (Anthony) of Florence; son, William Pace (Fallon) of Lake, MS; 7 grandchildren; sister, Gayle Donald Warren (Ricky) of Mendenhall, MS; brother-in-law, Louis Powell Sr. of Georgetown; nieces, Kimberly Davis (Josh) of Brandon and Patricia Doty (Sam) of Byram; nephew, Scott Cooper of Mendenhall and her Dallas.
