Mr. Lloyd D. Palmer

Lloyd D. Palmer 72, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at 105 Mendenhall Ave in Richland, MS 39218. Lloyd was born in Flora, MS on September 3, 1945 to Marshall Carol Palmer and Lauvina McMillian Palmer. He worked as a carpenter. Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Jean Palmer in July of this year; son, Robert Johnson and his brother, J.C. Palmer. He is survived by his daughters, Stacey Palmer of Richland, Brenda Herrington of Richland, Jeanette Brooks of Vicksburg, and Paula King of Richland; sons, Dean Palmer of Vicksburg and Calvin Palmer of Richland; sister, Betty Jean McBroom of Pearl; brothers, Jamie Palmer of Pearl and Elmer Palmer of Pearl; 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
