Lonnie Ray Arinder, 81, of Jackson, went to rejoice in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 4, 2009. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 5 p.m. til 8p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Rocky Hill Church of God in Sebastopol, MS.\ \ Along with his bride of 55 years, Bonnie Ruth Sistrunk Arinder, Lonnie took much joy in their ministry of music and singing. Even after suffering from Parkinson's disease and leukemia, Lonnie rarely missed an opportunity to worship in the house of the Lord. \ \ After various occupations from cowboy to musician to LPN at the State Hospital, Lonnie joined the Jackson Police Department where he became a well respected fingerprint expert. After retiring from the police department, Lonnie took the position of fingerprint examiner at the MS State Crime Lab.\ \ Beyond salvation through the blood of Jesus, Lonnie's dearest love in life was his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Arinder, his sister, Cordia Mann, and his brothers: Houston, Robert and DeWitt. \ \ Lonnie is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons: Fabrian and wife Jackie of Terry, Lorin and wife Maggie of Pinola; daughter, Angelique Shupe and husband Christopher of Kinde, MI; grandchildren: Brian and wife Noelle, Lane, Bethany, Hunter, John, Jeffrey, Rachel, Conor and Cyrus; and great grandchildren: Rayden, Elynnora and Timothy; brother, Bill and wife Shirley of Columbus; sister-in-law, Fannie Arinder of Collins; Bonnie's brother and sisters, many nieces, nephews and special friends who are counted as family.\
