Lorene \tizzy\"" Tidwell

Mrs. Lorene "Tizzy" Tidwell, 95 died January 15, 2010 at her home in Pearl. Visitation will be Saturday, 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 1-2 p.m. with services at 2 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in D'Lo Cemetery.\ \ A 56 year resident of Lea Circle in Jackson, MS, Mrs. Tidwell had lived in Pearl for 4 years. She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church. Her family praises her for being a wonderful mother, homemaker, seamstress and cook.\ \ She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack Tidwell and three sisters.\ \ She is survived by sons: Jack Merrill (Susan) Tidwell of Madison and Wayne (Anne) Tidwell of Ardmore, TN; daughter, Martha Anne Tidwell of Pearl; brother, John Dickey Martin of Florence; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.\
