Lottie Causey

Lottie S. Causey, 94, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. Visitation was 6-9pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services were 2pm Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mrs. Causey was born March 11, 1916 in Star, MS to Charles B. and Emma Gates Sandifer. She retired in 1984 after 21 years of service for Jackson Public Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband John Paul Causey; son Charles R. Causey; sisters, Daphne Shepherd and Lois Whittington and brother Lonnie Sandifer.\ \ Survivors include her daughters Mimi Leach (Wayne) of Terry and Nelda Brandon (Kenny) of Southaven; 6 grandchildren ; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\
