Mrs. Louise Burnham, 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation is Wednesday, November 18 from 5-8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services are 10am Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with burial following at Puckett Cemetery. A native of Simpson County, Mrs. Burnham had lived in Byram for the past 15 years after living in south Jackson. She was a lifelong Methodist, being a former member of Epworth United Methodist Church and currently Forest Hill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Burnham had worked with School Pictures Industries for 20 years and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Maggie Polk and her brothers, Bruce G. Polk and Roy Lavelle Polk. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bert Burnham, Jr. of Byram; daughters, Susan (Randy) Brown, of Raymond and Gloria (Alvin) Hawkins of Byram and granddaughters, Olivia Louise Hawkins and Maggie Catherine Hawkins.
