Louise Mancil

Louise (Polly) Mancil died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.\ \ She was born on February 8, 1915 in Harrisville, MS to William and Vavelia Dear. She had lived most of her adult life in Florence and Richland. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Richland.\ \ Services will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS with burial in Clear Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.\ \ She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mancil; parents, William and Vavelia Dear; sisters: Irene Thomas, Hazel Tanner and Gladys Rogers; brother, Walter Dear, Joe Dear and Ervin Dear.\ \ She is survived by one son, Billy (Clara Nell) Mancil of Richland; two grandchildren: Sherri Mancil of Jackson and Scot (Susan) Mancil of Richland; two Great grandchildren: Kyle Mancil and Kendal Mancil of Richland; sister, Molly Whatley of Florence and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.\
