Mrs. Louise Varner Williams

Annie Louise Varner Williams, 78 , passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Manhatten Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral services will be at 10am Thursday, April 3, in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood South. Mrs. Williams lived all her life in the Terry/Jackson area. She worked for General Electric and retired from the Mississippi Tax Commission. She was a faithful member of Wynndale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Allen Franklin Varner and Mattie Permenter Varner and her husband Charles P. Williams. Survivors include her son Joseph Wade Foster, Jr. of Terry; step-daughters Jan (Roger) Setzler and Becky Williams both of Mobile, AL; sisters Ellene Stanley of Leesburg, FL, Geneva Hawthorne, of Kenner, LA; Marie Patterson, of Texarcana, TX and Jonell (Bob) Weems of Marietta, GA; numerous nieces & nephews.
