Luca Mason Sandifer, infant son of Eric Hernandez and Morgan Sandifer and twin brother of Landon Sandifer, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was 8 weeks old. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, December 13, 2021 at Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories in Florence. Luca was born October 7, 2021 in Jackson, MS. He was two months old. He was a twin with his brother Landon. They loved each other. Lots of times they would lay with each other and just stare and talk to each other. He had the best eyes. He was always wide eyed. He was always hungry and he would let you know when he wanted to eat. He had the funniest sounds and he would love to talk to you. He had the chubbiest cheeks that you just wanted to kiss all the time. He was a mama’s boy all around. The moment I would get him he would snuggle into me. In his short life, he was loved dearly by his entire family and we will miss him every day for the rest of our days. Those left to cherish his memory are his grandparents, Scott and Pam Sandifer and Sabrina Celeya; great grandparents, John and Kenny Lee Sandifer; and aunts, Brooke (Andrew) Thomas, Paige (Justin) Scruggs, and Cindy Hernandez. He was welcomed in heaven by his paternal grandfather, Juan Raul Hernandez and his maternal great grandparents, John and Sue Wosham.
