Lue Barron

Mrs. Minnie Lue Barron, 81 died on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her home in Florence. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be at First Baptist Church, Florence on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Clear Branch Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Barron worked for Dr. Harold Caver for 28 years and formerly worked as a supervisor at UMC Dental School for many years. She loved to travel and work in her flower garden. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Florence.\ \ She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ina Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Barron; son, Eddie Dixon of Richland and step-son, Dale Barron of Florence; daughters: Linda Graves from VA and Gena McNair of Florence; brother, Rudolph Smith of Monticello; sister, Bertile Ard of Jayess; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.\ \ The family extends a special thanks to Barron Killens, granddaughter for her love and support. \
