Mrs. Lynda Lou Lee

Lynda Lou Lee, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 09, 2021. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS with a graveside service to follow. A long-time resident of Byram, MS, Lynda was born in Jackson, MS on September 09, 1939 to Otis Allen and Mary Wilson Allen. She was a graduate of Provine High School and was employed with Hinds County Schools as a bus driver for 26 years. Lynda loved her family and friends and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church. Lynda was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Lee; daughter, Paula Dearing; and grandson, Michael Lee Jr. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Debbie) Lee of Prosper, TX and Jimmy Lee of Taylorsville; daughter, Debbie Lee; five grandchildren, Josh (Maryann) Leach, Darren (Karen) Lee, Courtney Dearing, Tyler (Ashlan) Leach, and Derick (Amber) Dearing; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Marshal, Eli, Carson, Colton, Colt, and Ava.
