Lyndia Diane Forbes, 75, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at her home in Raymond, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Thursday, March 03, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Clear Branch Cemetery in Purvis, MS at 3:00 p.m. A resident of the Jackson, MS area for more than 50 years, Diane was born in Purvis, MS on October 16, 1946 to the late Bill Larkin Daughtrey and Clarice Evans Daughtrey. Alongside her husband, Robert, she helped operate their trucking business, Quality Delivery Service. She was a great business partner and adored all of her drivers. Above all, Diane loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her fur babies. Strong-willed and witty, Diane was a character and always the life of the party. She loved people. She was preceded in death by her first husband, M.D. Ainsworth; brother, Herbert Daughtrey; sisters, Louise Williams and Betty Keith; and nephews, Jimmy Daughtrey and Paul Daughtrey. She is survived by her husband, Robert Forbes of Raymond; daughters, Jenifer Ainsworth of Raymond and Laura A. Hobson (Mark) of Madison; granddaughters, Britnee Hobson (Kayla) of Brandon and Claire Miller (Jacob) of Madison; five great-grandchildren, McKenzee Henson, Kaeden Strickland, Savannah Henson, Sawyer Miller, and Boone Miller; sister-in-law, Peggy Pittman; nephews, Joel Williams (Sylvia), Mike Daughtrey (Lynn), Gary Daughtrey (Anita), Bruce Keith (Debbie), and Mark Keith; niece, Brenda Webb; and fur baby, Tucker.
