Mallory Jayne Frazier went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 14th, 2025. She was 23 years old. There will be a visitation held in her honor on Thursday, April 17th, 2025 from the hours of 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. The celebration of Mallory's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18th, 2025 at Lakeshore Church in Byram, MS and the committal service will be taking place at Harmonia Church Cemetery in Sallis, MS at 4:00 p.m.
Mallory was born on January 5th, 2002, to Jay and Suzanne Frazier and became the little sister to Zane and Abbie Kate. Mallory was born and raised in Butler, Georgia, where she was loved by so many and made lifelong friends that are like family. As a child she was meek and mild, often hiding behind her mother. Throughout her childhood her personality began to blossom. Mallory loved to entertain and make everyone laugh. Some people try to be funny, but Mallory just had it. It seems as though her first acts of outward love for others came as her realizing she could make people big smile and belly laugh with her antics. After moving to Byram, Mississippi, Mallory attended and graduated with highest honors from Copiah Academy.
Mallory was a member of Lakeshore Church in Byram, Mississippi. She loved the Lord and actively pursued to have more of the Holy Spirit in her life to show His love to others. She was humble to ask forgiveness when needed, and she never counted a single friendship or relationship as a loss.
Mallory met the love of her life, Carson Turner in November of 2020. They were inseparable from the start, and their love never wavered for one another. Mallory loved Carson fiercely. She cheered him on from the baseball bleachers throughout his time at Meridian Community College, Mississippi College, and into his career as a pitching coach at Coahoma Community College. She cherished every second they spent together and spent countless hours planning out their future.
Mallory spent 4 years at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS, preparing the way for her goals and dreams. She was a dedicated student, who didn’t accept less than perfection. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi College on May 3rd, 2024. Mallory was beyond thrilled that she was furthering her education and embarking on her career path when she was accepted to UMMC Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program in May of 2024. She was required to log 24 hours of observation to apply for the program, so in truest Mallory fashion, she logged over 130 hours of observation in the occupational therapy field. She was fascinated with every single thing she learned each day. It was her passion. She had dreams to pursue the special field of hand therapy as an occupational therapist.
Mallory’s additional passions included being with her family, cheering on childhood friends, and fishing and golfing with Carson, her dad, Zane, and Ryon. She loved hair and makeup and truly loved using her talents to help others feel and look their best. Mallory’s biggest excitement had quickly become the anticipation of becoming an aunt to her niece, Jayne Katherine Ramsey.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Sherri Prestwood of Milledgeville, GA, and grandfather Lamar Frazier of Marietta, GA.
Mallory is survived by the love of her life, Carson Turner of Clinton, MS, parents Jay and Suzanne Frazier, brother Zane Frazier, and sister Abbie Kate Ramsey (Ryon) of Crystal Springs, MS, grandparents Don and Helen Burrell of Sallis, MS.
