Mrs. Mamie White Rogers

Mamie White Rogers, 87, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be 1:00pm-2:30pm Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 3:00pm at Lakewood South. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker, spending most of her life in Jackson. She was a faithful wife and loving mother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Junior Rogers. Survivors include her son William Rogers (Liz); daughters Selma Litton (Ron), Debbie Barrett (Cliff) and Janet Wall (Bruce); brother James White; sisters Carline Lewis, Lucy Mae Little and Viola Shows; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
