Manley Tackett, Jr

Manley Bertran Tackett, Jr., 56, passed away Wednesday, February 08, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9th from 5-8 pm and Friday, February 10th from 10 am until the 11 am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson.\ \ Mr. Tackett, a native of Jackson, has called Richland home for the past 3 years. He worked at Big 10 Tires for 20 years and recently was a stocker at the Kroger in Brandon for the past 20 years. He will be remembered by his family as a very caring and loving Husband, Father, Son and Brother.\ \ He is preceded in death by his father, Manley "Sonny" Tackett, Sr. and his granddaughter Gracie Tackett. He is survived by his wife, Ha Tackett of Richland; his mother, Georgia Tackett of Richland; his son, Gary (Stephany) Tackett of Florence; his daughters, Misty (Ben) Sumrall of Byram and An Doung of Richland; brothers, Donald (Karen) Tackett of Byram, Mike (Marilyn) Tackett of IL, James (Lisa) Tackett of Kentucky and Jerry (Renae) Tackett; sister, Linda (Jerry) Phillips of AR; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Tackett, Haley Gregg, and Lochlan Sumrall.\
